"Greatest Of All Time" RIP Don Rickles

Don Rickles was a comedic legend, and his death Thursday at the age of 90 prompted an outpouring of grief and tributes from the entertainment world.

He was known as a master of insult comedy on stage and as a genuinely nice person offstage. Over the course of several decades, Rickles became a staple of late-night talk shows and the nightclub circuit, and he interacted with generations of fellow comedians.

“Don coming on our show was always a highlight for me,” David Letterman said, according to Variety. “Just endless mischief and nonsense, and a guy who would make the audience go completely crazy. Such a professional, such a gentleman. I already miss him.”
